Our Commitment to Safety
At Tamash Group, we know that keeping our employees, communities and environment safe cannot be achieved without an unwavering commitment to 100% HSE, and a zero-tolerance approach to compromises or shortcuts.
Our people and contractors are at the heart of 100% HSE. They enforce and implement the Group HSE Policy, identify and mitigate risks, and keep themselves, their colleagues and our clients safe. All Tamash employees are empowered and obliged to intervene in unsafe situations, address the issue, and ensure that our policies and procedures are followed.
Our people make sure that oil and gas industry remains one of the safest in the world, with a Lost Time Frequency Injury (LTIF) rate that is considerably lower than the global industry average.
Yet there is no room for complacency: 100% HSE is a continuous and never-ending effort, whether we are at work, at home, or abroad. By embracing, believing in and being accountable for 100% HSE, we make sure everyone goes home safe every day.
HSE Governance
Tamash’s HSE Management framework manages business risks in line with established HSE policies, systems, procedures and guidelines. This safeguards integrity of our facilities, operating systems and processes, and is vital to ensure that we deliver energy to the world in a safe and sustainable manner.

Tamash Group take a proactive approach towards environmental protection, constantly assessing and actively managing all environmental risks and impacts. We recognize the responsibility we have towards our environment, and place great emphasis on the identification and mitigation of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) risks. Our business policies are developed with the intention that business activities have minimal carbon footprint on the earth. We at Tamash fully committed to contribute in making the world a greener and healthier place.
Environment Policy
Tamash Group are committed to environmental sustainability. We recognize that providing and integrating a sound environmental, health and safety program into our business is key to our success.
It is Tamash’s policy to:
Comply with all pertinent environmental and safety laws, rules and regulations, not just because it is legally required, but also because we believe it is the responsible way to conduct our business
Set HSE targets and goals annually to measure our performance, to achieve superior results and to continuously improve
Monitor, revise and reset safety systems and environmental assessments on a regular basis
ETHICS AND CODE OF CONDUCT
Operating with integrity every day is central to how we do business. Tamash Group are committed to doing business ethically and in compliance with applicable laws.
This commitment is manifested in our Code of Conduct, Anti-Fraud Policy, and the Ethics Program which are designed to:

Tamash Group is committed to and conducts its business activities lawfully and in a manner that is consistent with its compliance obligations.
The Legal and Regulatory Compliance Policy (Compliance Policy) establishes the overarching principles and commitment to action for Tamash FZC with respect to achieving compliance by:
- identifying a clear compliance framework within which Tamash Group operates
- promoting a consistent, rigorous and comprehensive approach to compliance throughout Tamash Group
- developing and maintaining practices that facilitate and monitor compliance within Tamash Group
- seeking to ensure standards of good corporate governance, ethics and community expectations
- engendering a culture of compliance where every person within Tamash Group accepts personal responsibility for compliance and acts ethically and with integrity
